The network aims to bring together our local business community and work towards becoming more sustainable as a sector. Being a member means you will be kept up to date regarding all things on environmental sustainability that affect you as a business owner and operator on the Kāpiti Coast.

Once you’ve joined the network, we encourage you to have a look at the Tools & Templates available on our website and develop your own Sustainability Policy. Once you have completed your policy and it is made public (e.g. published on your website with a link available for viewing, or shared with your customers in a newsletter), you can apply to add the Pakihi Toitū o Kāpiti badge to your website and email if you wish. A note on developing your Sustainability Policy

This website provides guidance and templates for developing a sustainability policy for your business. Developing a sustainability policy does not necessarily require a lot of time and effort, but it does require new ways of thinking. To be able to use the badge, you will need to answer a minimum of 6 questions in your policy. Once you have published your policy, send us an mail at [email protected] to request use of the badge.
