Montfoort wholesale kitchen is based in Paraparaumu, where they bake sticky caramel-filled stroopwafels and send them all over New Zealand to the best little stores and coffee shops. The Montfoort mission is to showcase the best of sweet Dutch street food using honest, fresh ingredients and traditional methods while keeping it inventive and fun.
Every Friday, the Montfoort caravan rolls out to the front of the bakery and serves up buttery bite-sized poffertjes and fresh stroopwafels. They are very conveniently located right next to Dark Horse Coffee - the perfect beverage to accompany your delicious Dutch treats!
Olde Beach Bakery

Well-known Waikanae staple Old Beach Bakery have opened up their second store in the recently refurbished and delightfully pink Holtoms Building in Paekākāriki.
Head there before (or after) your Escarpment Track walk, a trip to the beach or a meander around the Holtoms artist's studios.

That Little Cake Shop

That Little Cake Shop was created in 2017 by Alisha Lewis. Through a love of baking, Alisha crafted her own recipes and flavours for her range of Cakes, Macarons, Sugar Cookies and Cupcakes. Not only do her treats taste amazing and are super moreish, but the decadent decorating has so much wow factor they are sure to be a talking point!

Salty’s Diner

Calling itself the "rowdy little sister who gets away with anything", the Salty's team deliver good ole diner food served up with friendly and casual service, and a side of inappropriate kitchen banter. Salty's tasty eats & North End Brewing beers are served from a lovingly converted vintage Airstream inside the building - right in the heart of Paraparaumu Beach.
They promise to keep the food fresh with a big, bold and smokey menu that provides an epic tasting experience. It's a place to catch up with mates, chill, and enjoy the feed. For the competitive types there's old-school pinball and arcade machines to while away your time.
