They say some things never leave us. They’re always there, just out of reach, between sleep and dreams. Between the foreshore and seabed. The plaintive moan of a bachelor seal. The treasure we never found. The life we never led.

But fear not sweet hearties – the Wellington Sea Shanty Society (WSSS) are back from exile with a swag bag of forgotten futures in this national tour! Secrets given up by the sea in the form of ‘Sea Shanties of the 70’s, 80’s & Today!’ (their new EP).

Each song a mysterious oyster lovingly shucked by the likes of Vorn dont Le Père Était Marin, Lake Davineer, Nick De La Mer, Thomas Un Copa and long time shanty foes ‘The Salty Wailers’.

Come help the WSSS sing all your favourite shanties — as well as a few fresh pāua ballads.

Seaside Sloths are a 7-piece, genre-defying outfit, here to remind everyone to slow down. Hailing from the jungle and now residing on the luscious shorelines of the Kapiti Coast. The Sloths have climbed down from their tree to present to you their second full-length album,“Claws”.

“Claws' is abundant with vibrant soundscapes, lyrical prowess and many auditory twists and turns within each song. It plays cohesively as a body of work that encompasses more genres than you can wave a branch at! With “Claws” out now and a bunch more live shows on the horizon, Slothmania is sweeping the nation at a rate that is anything but slow!
