As well as hosting the indigenous film festival, the Māoriland Hub is home to a variety of arts events year round and a space for artists to perform and to work.
The Māoriland Hub contains a cinema, virtual reality (VR) space, art gallery, performance space, workshop and conference facilities.
It is a venue for indigenous artists and their collaborators to showcase or perform their work from film workshops and the screening of films to art exhibitions, music and drama performances. Māoriland operates a number of year-round activities, with a particular focus on our rangatahi, the young people of this place.
The hub is based in what for almost 100 years was Ōtaki's iconic department store Edhouses.
