Step back in time to the 1920s. This miniature landscape covers 1/4 acre. G scale models of some of the first steam locomotives. Open 1 October – 30 April. Every Sunday, and daily during school and public holidays 11.00am to 4pm. Closed Christmas Day.
There's also a miniature railway at Marine Gardens park in Raumati. The double loop track features two tunnels and is just under 1km long. The train runs between 1pm-4pm on Sundays and is $1.50 a trip.
