Duncan's cellar door has regular open hours on Friday and Saturday – check the Duncan's Brewery website for details – or if the 'Open' sign is out, then come on in!
You can pick your own fruit and vegetables, including a huge range of chillis, at Penray Gardens on State Highway 1 in Te Horo. Open every day. See the latest opening hours on their Facebook page.
Or for summer fruit picking, head to nearby Windsor Park, which specialises in berries and plums. Open weekends in December and January.
