Adventure Kāpiti Coast

Adventure Kāpiti guides have been riding the beautiful Kāpiti Coast for over 15 years, starting with borrowed bikes riding through Queen Elizabeth Park, then progressing into the Akatawaras with a trip around the infamous Karapoti course. Night rides are a regular feature, encountering Kereru, Morepork, Pukeko, deer, pigs, goats, possums and many more.
Beach to Backcountry – Mountain bike guiding for riders of all abilities throughout the Kāpiti region from Queen Elizabeth Park to deep in the Akatawara Ranges.
At Adventure Kāpiti, not only can we show you the unique tracks of the region, but introduce you to the beauty of Kāpiti, the bush, the ocean, the food and characters of our community can all be part of your adventure.
Abseiling and rafting

Dirt Farm

Wellington's most exciting MTB park!
Want to come up and ride some of Wellington’s most mind blowingly fun trails? Like the idea of spending your precious time riding down rather than pushing up?
Then Dirt Farm is where you want to be.
Catering for up to 40 people Dirt Farm can provide everything you need for a cracking day out for that corporate day, special birthday, hen/stag do or just general get together, taking care of all the details so that all you have to do is have fun.
Horse Trekking
Our magnificent beaches all along the Kāpiti Coast are open to horses.
Some areas in Paekākāriki, Paraparaumu, Waikanae and Ōtaki have restrictions from 11am-5pm from 1st of December to the end of daylight saving.
Te Horo Equestrian Centre offers pony rides, treks, lessons, accommodation for horses and riders, any age and any level.
Beachbrook Stables can take you for a ride on Ōtaki Beach.
Beach horse treks are also available with the Kāpiti Equestrian Centre in Waikanae.




Overnight tramping
Bordered on one side by ocean and the other by mountains, Kāpiti has easy access to native forests.
Choose from half hour bush walks to challenging tramps lasting several days, with plenty of trails to choose from, pick one that works best for you.
Real MTB Adventures
Real MTB Adventures offers exclusive all inclusive 'boutique style' five to twenty-one day guided MTB tours of the North Island, the South Island or both Islands of New Zealand. They can arrange to collect you from the airport, say our hello’s over a cup of coffee and get you out there riding! They organise everything required for your MTB visit, just turn up with your bike or opt for one of the rental bikes, they take care of the rest.
They have designed tours which will appeal to experienced mountain bikers who are looking for adventure and enjoy a challenging ride with good company led by guides of a similar age and attitude.






Paintballing
1/93 Main Rd, Otaihanga, Paraparaumu
Get the adrenalin pumping at Adrenalin Kāpiti Coast, which offers paintball and laser tag. Enjoy a battle in a beautiful Kāpiti setting. Located in the Lindale complex in Paraparaumu near Southward Car Museum.
Take part and explore the Castle Field with tombstones, ponds, bridges and tracks. They can also bring laser tag to you.
Adrenalin Kāpiti Coast is ideal for families, friends, co-workers, and other groups who want to enter into safe, exciting and unforgettable Paintball or Laser War battles.
